Who We Are

We are followers of Jesus from all walks of life with one ultimate longing: to hear God's heartbeat and to become true lovers of God. Christianity as a concept and the mere outward appearance of faith do not satisfy us. We are pressing in for the fullness of faith in Christ and casting away any substitutes to Jesus. We want only Him. And we have set our hearts to see His Kingdom advance daily on Earth.



  Hany & Elizabeth's Story


"Out of Egypt I have called my Son" Matthew 2:15

He still calls His sons out of Egypt! In this case God did it literally when He called Hany Soryal to leave Egypt in1992. Hany was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, but he moved to Canada shortly after being deeply impacted by a dramatic outpouring of the Holy Spirit in 1991.

Hany met Elizabeth while at university in 1996, and in 1998 they were married. Elizabeth is a zany artist at heart. "Wallace" is her maiden name and, as such, her family motto "For Freedom!" is emblazoned in her heart. She believes that participation in creation (whether nature as God created it or art-making) has the capacity to draw us into closer communion with our Creator, and to bring us into greater freedom. She teaches creative release workshops at churches and conferences, and her art is held in many collections in the States and in Canada.

Over a period of five years, Hany and Elizabeth served first with Morning Star Ministries (Rick Joyner) and subsequently with Streams Ministries (John Paul Jackson). While at MorningStar, Hany trained believers in the prophetic ministry and helped establish the prophetic ministry and prophetic teams in the church in Moravian Falls, North Carolina. He was also overseer of the prophetic teams that traveled with Rick Joyner. His articles on Leadership and the God of the Arabs are published in the MorningStar Journal.

At Streams Ministries Hany taught as an instructor at the Institute for Spiritual Development. He developed and oversaw the prophetic ministry at Streams and the Bridge. He also created and taught the 102 Course, a new course curriculum on "advanced Prophetic Ministry".

In 2003, Jesus called Hany and Elizabeth to return to Canada saying:


After God promised to impart His heartbeat and vision for the people of Canada to them, Hany and his family moved to Montreal, Quebec.

Hany now travels in Canada and abroad speaking in conferences and conducting workshops to equip Christians in being lovers of God, developing the seers' gift and ministry, spiritual communications, heavenly realms, and the art of dream interpretation. Hany's passion is to see the body of believers become revolutionary lovers of God. For this purpose, he and Elizabeth founded Lovers of God. The HEARTBEAT Prophetic Bulletin and the School of the Heart also spring from their passion.

Hany and Elizabeth, reside in Montreal with their three children.
